ESSY OKENYURI NYAITUGA FOUNDATION
The Essy Okenyuri Nyaituga Foundation is a charitable organization duly registered by the Non-Governmental Organizations Co-ordination Board in 2024. . The foundation collaborates with individuals, families, communities, philanthropists and other relevant stakeholders including learning institutions, community - based organizations such as women groups, men associations, youth and religious groups to improve capacity for sustainable development.
Its establishment was an idea by its founder Hon. Senator Esther Okenyuri who has had a strong desire as a leader to give back to the society by carrying out charitable and economic activities aimed at empowering the underprivileged groups in rural Kenya. Having served as an elected member of parliament, she aspires to initiate development initiatives for social-economic prosperity through the programs of this foundation.

RESOURCE MOBILIZATION
The Foundation has been self-supporting but continues to employ innovative ways of raising funds and mobilizing additional human and technical, resources for implementing its programs. This includes networking, making proposals of partnership with the relevant government agencies, development partners, philanthropists and other like- minded
foundations.

SEN ESTHER OKENYURI ANYIENI
Essy Okenyuri Nyaituga was founded by Senator Esther Okenyuri in 2023 and duly registered with the Non-Governmental Organizations Co-ordination Board.
Esther Okenyuri a renown philantropist and astute defender of social rights was born in 1991 in Kenyenya village, Kisii County. She is a Member of Parliament of the 4th Senate of Kenya/13th Parliament, nominated by Kenya’s ruling party, United Democratic Alliance. She is a member of KEWOPA, the Vice Chairperson of the Senate Standing Committee on Trade, Industrialization and Tourism, a member of the Senate Standing Committee on Health, and the Senate Powers and Privileges Committee.
She currently is the Deputy Secretary General of the Kenya Young Parliamentarians Association and the Organizing Secretary of Kenyan Women Senators Association. Okenyuri was gazetted as a nominated Senator for Soipan Tuya, who was appointed by President William Ruto, EGH as Ministry of Environment Cabinet Secretary.
